The whole trip to Argentina was pretty crazy. It started off in Vancouver staying overnight at a church there. We were talking about our passport photocopies and stuff like that when Michael figured out he didn't have his passport, which turned into a huge mess. We thought we might have to leave him behind to have a flight rebooked and everything once he had it back. We prayed quite a bit about it that night and then he just remembered he might have it in his other bag he sent home with his mom, which it was. We had someone drive it out to us, which was awesome, so it was a big answer to prayer.
The next morning went pretty well. We got up at 4:30 and headed to the skytrain to ride to YVR. Our flights went from Vancouver to LA, LA to Houston, then Houston to Argentina which all ended up being like 25 hours. None of us could really sleep on the planes so we've all been awake more or less since 4:30 on Tuesday morning, so we're all dying. If we just jump straight into their sleeping patterns here it won't be too bad though.
We started talking about what kind of stuff we'll be doing here and walked around a bunch to check everything and it's a really cool place. It kind of reminds me of walking around in downtown Vancouver by where all the houses are except like 30 degrees. Everything's really close together and really cool looking.
Overall, I'm really looking forward to everything that's going to be happening here, it seems like it's all going to be awesome.
